Marcela "Ruty" Romero was born on September  12, 1968, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  She started photographing at the age of 7.  Although she studied history and anthropology, photography was always present during her academic years.
 
Marcela "Ruty" worked as a photographer for several photographers and advertising agencies when she was a student.
 
In 1994 her dream came true and she founded her first photography studio "Rutysoft" while the digital era came to Argentina.
 
In December 2001 she immigrated to Israel.  Since she has participated in several art fairs, like Adar Mall in Jerusalem,  Tel Aviv Artists 'Fair,  The Negev Artists' House,  Pri haShalom in Israel artist organizations, etc..
 
At 2010, photography marketing strengthened, so Marcela "Ruty" invested time and money in advanced studio equipment that folds to provide photography services to small and medium-sized business at their workplace (shops, offices).  She also started filming video for advertising and for business.
 
Marcela "Ruty" participated in various competitions and exhibitions around the world.
